Little Elf

We have had all kinds of elf fun around our house since the beginning of December. Our elf fun started when Jingle a special elf came to live with our family and watch over Libby and Ava very carefully. Jingle did all kinds of crazy things he made snow angels in flour, brought homemade orange/raspberry rolls right from Mrs clause's kitchen, cut snowflakes out, and hide in all kinds of places. we can't wait for him to come again next year, Libby especially she was so sad and cried because she missed him and he hadn't even left yet. Our next Elf fun was when Libby's class had a little elf party and sang rudolph to the WHOLE school in an assembly. She makes a pretty cute elf don't you think?

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year we spent a little bit of time with both our families. This was Ava's first Thanksgiving that she really got to enjoy the Actual food. We had a nice, relaxing, food filled, thankful thanksgiving.

Some of the many things we are grateful for are

Crystal : My sweet girls, My amazing husband, My home, Scott's good job, the gospel, and GOOD friends.

Scott: My family, Gold (if there wasn't gold in the ground I wouldn't have a job), Our home, Friends and the 49ers

Libby: My family, Lucy, and Clothes

Ava: anything she can make a mess with, her blankies, food and bottles

Happy Halloween

How in the world did I manage to forget to blog our Halloween???? For Halloween Ava bug was a lady bug how fitting and Miss Libby was Dorothy she loves puppies and the sparkly shoes made the costume perfect. For years I have wanted to be Jack and Sally from nightmare before Christmas and finally did it this year.

Carving Pumpkins

We waited till sunday night before Halloween to carve pumpkins it was the only night we were able to make work to be able to have Scott be with us. Libby had so much fun choosing which each of our pumpkins would have carved on them. Ava sat in her high chair and pretty much laughed and yelled at us the whole time.

Pumpkinland

Every year during October we visit Pumpkinland in Orem they have lots to do and see but it's the perfect size for little ones here are a few pictures from our visit this year.

Happy Birthday Libby

Libby had such a hard time making the BIG decision what what theme to choose for her party after lot's of changing her mind she finally decided on TINKERBELL. This year was the first year we did a friend party for her party I had fun coming up with games and activities.

For her party we made fairy gardens before the party I planted grass seed and then everyone got a small Tinkerbell for their garden along with lots of flowers, rocks, jewels and cute bugs to choose from. Thanks to all of our amazing family and friends that came over that evening for cake and ice cream!!

New things about LIBBY

~Libby still loves her stuffed animals more than any other toy

~Libby can write all of her letters and numbers her name and a few 3 letter words.

~Libby can now read short stories she is learning so much in kindergarten

~Her favorite movie is Tangled

~Her favorite food is steak

~Elephants are still her favorite animal

~She played soccer this summer/fall and kicked butt it was such a blast watching her

~She is taking a couple dance classes

~her favorite color is still pink all the way

~ she LOVES music she could listen to music all day and loves to sing

~Libby is a picky eater she doesn't like mushrooms, tomatoes, enchiladas of any sort, I am sure there are several others I can't remember right now

Happy 1st Birthday

Where has the last year gone? I can't believe how fast time has gone we had a little party for Ava with Lot's of pink :)~ Ava started officially walking at 10 1/2 months she started taking steps at 9 1/2 it took her a good month to master it. I guess I should say she started running.

~She wears 12-18 month clothes some 18-24. Her shoe size is a 4

~ She weighs about 22 pounds. She has the cutest little thighs!

~The last couple weeks she has really started to pay attention to her toys and loves them. Baby dolls are her favorite she is always kissing them and hugging them.

~She LOVES cheese. fruit and spaghetti.

~She has 2 little bottom teeth and 4 top teeth that make her cute cheesy grin the best.

~She is a little chatter box she says Dad, Mom, Hi, Uh-Oh, Allie, Bye and no no no while shaking her finger at me.

~ She dances at the sound of any music.

~She has a little Minnie Mouse wrapped in her blanket that she loves and sleeps with.

~She goes to sleep at about 9pm wakes up at 4:30 for a bottle and then is up at 7:30 for the day she is a much better sleeper, but its still a little rough.

Beach Day

Our beach day was so NICE we were so ready to relax and have a day of not running around and somewhere to be. We hung out at our hotel, ate good food and hung out at the beach. What a good way to end our vacation!

Legoland

We had never been to Legoland so we decided this trip to try it out and it proved to be pretty good. I can't believe the things that are built out of legos it's pretty insane. I kept asking are you sure they just don't make it look like these things are made from legos. I had a lot of fun looking at all of it I wish I would have got more pictures of everything.

Seaworld

We didn't get very many pictures while we were at Seaworld :( so here are just a few. We always love going to Seaworld Libby loves animals of any sort so she always loves this since these are animals we don't often get to see. Ava had a lot of fun at the shows I didn't think she would pay attention much but she did and loved it.

American Girl Doll

I never imagined a trip to the American Girl Doll store would make Libby sooooo excited.

Libby repeated multiple times that she was in doll heaven, she completly giggled the whole way through the store. I can't even begin to explain how happy I was to see her that happy and how cute, excited and grateful she was.

Libby choose Kanani she is the Girl of the Year she also got some cute outfits, breakfast in bed tray and a ukele set for her doll.

Disneyland

We had such a fun trip we visited The American Girl doll store, Sea World, Legoland, and of course Disneyland.

My girls were so much fun they both acted so good and loved everything around them.

Libby loved having an autograph book and meeting all the charcters and getting pictures with them she is mesmerized by the princesses. She loved splash mountain she asked over and over again to go on it, Tower and Terror was another story we couldn't even get her to try it.

Ava had so much fun on the rides watching all the colors and music around her, she also loved meeting Winnie the Pooh and Tigger she kept kissing tigger.
