Christmas

We had such a good Christmas and we are so lucky we were able to spend it with each other and all the people we love! We missed our family that we didn't get to spend the holiday season with. We were all very spoiled by each other and all of our family. Libby had such a fun time opening presents and playing with all her cousins. We ate lots of yummy food and loved enjoying the time we got to spend together! Here are a few pictures of our Christmas morning Libby was so excited with every presents she opened even the clothes! Lucy was excited with her new toys and rawhides that Santa brought her.

We just decided to snap a couple pictures after we got done putting the Christmas Tree up so I thought I would share a couple of them.

CHRISTMAS TREE

Getting our Tree out this year was a little bit of a disaster!!! the lights on the tree were off in a few sections I remember this happening last year and the year we bought it. It is supposed to be a tree that if one light goes out they still work. To top it off it wasn't a cheap tree we paid a lot for it, but every year it is a joke to get it out. We finally decided that it was not worth getting frustrated and annoyed every year so off we went to wal mart and bought a different tree came home and got it up in about 10 minutes and we were able to get it all decorated hopefully it will make it much nicer to put up. Libby had a lot of fun this year putting her tree up and I like it up this year because I have yet to find her ornaments broken somwhere. Now I just need to get all of our presents wrapped!

Thankful

So with THANKSGIVING being tomorrow I just want to name a few of the many things I am thankful for!

1- Scott he is such a good husband and amazing daddy! He works so hard to provide for me and Libby and to make it possible for me to be a stay at home mom. He loves to play with Libby and I think it is so cute my favorite is when they play Barbies Libby had to go get a boy Barbie for when daddy was home to play. He is truly the best and I would be lost without him.

2- Libby she brightens my day no matter what. She loves to cuddle and that's the perfect ending to the day. She is such a girly girl and I love it. She always manages to come up with the funniest things to make us laugh. I even love her little attitude.

3-Friends what in the world would I do without them! I am so grateful for the incredible friends I have. I love when we have girls nights and can all get together and chat they are the best to be able to just call and complain to.

4- Lucy she is the most adorable little dog and we love her. She keeps Libby company and plays so good with Libby. She has the best little personality and loves to play. My favorite is how she is always right there to greet us as soon as we get home. When Scott comes home from work she goes nuts.

5- Family I feel lucky to have such a close family. I am so happy that I can live close to family that is always around and there for us. I am so grateful for my Grandma and Grandpa who have helped Scott and I so much. I am extremely lucky to have the aunts and uncles I do they have always been there for me especially in this last 5 months.

6- My home I am so grateful to have my home. I love coming home to cuddle in my bed or to cook in my kitchen. I feel so lucky to still have my home right now when so many people are losing their homes.

7- Scott's job I feel so blessed that Scott has such a good job in this rotten economy.

Cookies

Libby always wants to make cookies so the other day we made a whole bunch of sugar cookies. I bought a great big box of cookie cutters at walmart to make things fun. Libby wanted to make all kinds of different shapes we had hearts, stars, cowboy hats, cowboy boots, cars, snowmen, pumpkins, flowers, and butterflys honestly I think we had 1 of everything. I thought it was funny that she wanted to make the cowboy hat and boot for Scott I don't why she relates that to him but I thought it was very cute!

SNOW

Libby and Lucy were both so excited for the SNOW I can't say I was to thrilled though. Libby woke up and saw the very little SNOW we got and wanted to make a snowman and by the time we got her all bundled up there was no SNOW left. Later in the day when it started dumping SNOW Libby said "mom I am so happy for the blizzard out there" so we bundled her all up and out she went to play. Lucy just kept running and running and biting the SNOW this is her first time seeing SNOW and she loves it I had to make her come in and shut her doggie door to keep her in the house. I had a hard time getting any pictures because they both just kept running but here are a couple. I think I need to go find Lucy a coat!

Halloween

We had such a fun Halloween this year. I was very sad that Scott had to work because we always dress up as something fun I was grateful he got home at eight and got to spend a little time with us. We started our night off by going to Trunk or Treat with Jacqueline and Paiges ward and then we headed to my Mom's ward for their Trunk or Treat Libby got lots of Candy. My Grandma always makes yummy soup so we usually end there eating dinner and Trick or Treating in her neighborhood. Libby LOVED the idea of getting all that candy and of course had so much fun with all of her cousins. Here are some pictures of all of our costumes.

Pumpkins

This last week we had my family over to carve pumpkins everyone was so creative. Libby had fun getting all the guts out of the pumpkin and drawing her face but she let Scott carve it. She was a little disappointed with the face her pumpkin had, Scott carved exactly what she drew. Zachery carved a pirate face, my Dad made a house out of my pumpkin but it still had a face in it he is very artistic and creative and Allie carved a cute bubbly face to fit her personality. My mom just had fun watching everyone carve the pumpkins while I bribed Lucy and Max with treats to try and get some cute pictures of the 2 of them I will post those soon.

The Springville pool had a pumpkin plunge the pool looked so fun with all the pumpkins in it. When we got there we jumped right in and searched for the perfect pumpkins and then swam with them for a couple hours. There were tables set up so that after we were done swimming with our pumpkins we could paint them and have yummy treats. This was a perfect Halloween/Fall activity for Libby and Scott because they are both Little fish!!!

Vacation

I am BACK Finally I have been such a slacker. We were so busy getting everything ready to leave for our vacation and Libby's party I never had a chance to update this. We have been home for almost a week and I still haven't had a chance to update, We came home to a mouse I was so freaked out by it that I truly haven't stopped cleaning my house. We had such a fun vacation and already can't wait to go back to Disneyland Libby was in heaven her favorite ride was Peterpan and Dumbo. Libby is so shy I was so surprised when she loved meeting all the charcters I think her favorite were the princess and pluto. Grandma stood in line to meet the princesses twice and each time it was for about an hour and a half!! Libby hated waiting in lines she would say can't we just go to the front mom. Libby had a fun birthday everyone made such a big deal out of her for her birthday. We also went to Sea world, the San diego Zoo and universal studios. Libby loved the dolphins in Sea world and the Elephants at the Zoo. I loved Seeing the set for desperate housewives at universal studios! Here are a few pictures I know it's a picture overload and the sad thing is I have so many more!!!

Thanksgiving Point.

We went to Thanksgiving Point a couple times in the past couple weeks Libby can't get enough of the farm she is in LOVE with horses. Usually as we are pulling into the parking lot of the farm area Libby is already trying to get out of her seat saying come on hurry let's go ride those
Horses. Scott and I took her and then we went the following week with all her cousin's and uncle Zachery. When we went with cousins she was so excited because they had brought out a little baby horse she kept giggling saying mom look its just a little baby. I am in love with COWS I know it's a little wierd but I have loved them since I was a little girl and I still love them I think they are so cute I wish they would come small so I could have a couple for pets when I saw this little baby Cow and it's adorable teeth I couldn't help but snap a million pictures. Well that's all for now I am sorry I have slacking I will be better.

Soon but still so far away!!!

Scott and I have been saving for a year now so we can make Libby's Disneyland vacation a dream come true. Libby is so excited to go to California and spend a week going to Disneyland, Sea world, San Diego Zoo and Universal studios. We are excited to be in Disneyland for Libby's fourth birthday and let her have that experience. We aren't leaving until the beginning of October so we still have 6 weeks left before we pack the car of and head out. We got our tickets and our hotel all booked and FINALLY put the last of Scott's overtime money away to take with us so it finally feels more exciting and ready to go!!!!! We can't wait!!!! Vegas

We went to Vegas for a little weekend getaway and had so much fun we crammed our few days we were there and saw everything we wanted to see. We stayed at the Trump Tower I didn't get any pictures but wish I would have it was so nice with the most comfy beds ever which were amazing to crawl into after walking the strip all day. It was definatly toasty on friday morning at 9am it was 108 degrees WOW!!! We got to go to the Mirage Secret Gardens and see the Dolphins Lions and Tigers. The Lion was so awesome to see I don't think I ever been that close. We also rode the NYNY Roller coaster. After we got off we went over to get the pictures they take while you are on the roller coaster we couldn't pass those up all of our faces were classic.

Dani and I dragged the boys all over the outlets and the strip I think they were grateful when we would start to slow down so they could head to the tables and gamble a little.

We love shopping no matter where we are so while we were in vegas we shopped till we dropped but had so much fun doing it.

Scott, Me, Dani, and Steven. Between Scott and Steve we all laugh the entire time we are together Scott and I love going on vacations with them and can't wait for the Florida keys or Hawaii which ever we plan.

Libby's Pool

I had Tyson and Kait for a few hours the other day and thought it would be fun for Tyson and Libby to play in her pool and I was right they had a blast. Tyson and Libby are best buds they always have so much together. When we bought Libs pool we had no idea it would be so tiny it looked like it would be much bigger but she has had fun and it's been a pretty good size for her. There is also a picture of Lucy the kids thought it would be fun to put her in the pool with them she liked getting cooled off but was ready to come in the house. I think it's about time to get Lucy either a bow or a haircut because her little eyes are lost and they are such cute little puppy dog eyes.
