3 months

I know this is super late but the picture was taken on time this is Ava Bug at 3 months old! WOW has she grown I can't even believe how fast the time flies!

AVA BUG

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always spent at Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Sam's house we always have a yummy dinner, fishing pond, the Nativity and open jammies. Libby had been looking forward to the fishing for a long time so when we finally got to do it she was so excited for her turn. The nativity was really fun this year Libby got to be Mary and Ava bug was baby Jesus. Later in the night we went to Janine's house to play games eat and open our gift exchange since Steve and Bree's little family wouldn't be able to make it on Christmas day.

New addition to the family!

These pretty little numbers happen to be the newest addition to our family!! HOLY COW what a difference they have made in my laundry I get it done faster it comes out cleaner and smelling FANTASTIC!!

Special Delivery!!

On Christmas eve we had a special delivery for our last and final night Amy and Cody brought us the last gift a yummy choclate bar a gift card to chilis and Libby lou a GIANT coloring book! We had so much fun every night getting all the fun treats and gifts and I think we all put on on a couple pounds. Thanks guys you are awful sneaky!!

Yummy Rootbeer we got 2 2liters of rootbeer we made rootbeer floats with it and Libby asked and asked can I have more rootbeer its a favorite in our house.

On the fourth day of Christmas four calling birds were hard to find so we got some candy and a movie to enjoy. Notice Scott had the candy open before I could get a picture and was excited about the choice of candy. We can't wait to watch the movie LOVE the muppets!

Someone is doing the 12th days of Christmas for my little family it has been so much fun for our us to wait for the fun gifts left every night. Libby is having so much fun with it she will knock on a wall and yell mom it's the door it's the twelve days of christmas. 1st Thanksgiving

We were Lucky enough to have a couple Thanksgiving dinner/lunches to spend with all of our family. Thanksgiving day we got to go visit Grandma Bonnie's house and Grandpa Jeff, Aunt Bonnie came for a little visit so we had a dinner on Wednesday before thanksgiving with her and Grandma Janine. We had a fun year and we are so grateful for all our family. I only took one picture on thanksgiving and it was of little Ava bug in her thanksgiving outfit.

2 Months old!!

I can't believe Ava is already 2 months old it has gone by so fast!! She has her 2 month check up on the 30th of this month I am excited to see where she is at with weight and height. Ava Bug

~Sleeping has been so nice the last couple weeks she is finally sleeping for 3 and sometimes if we are lucky 4 hours.

~Ava is now eating 5 ounces it won't take long for her to be a chunky monkey!

~She loves to be held she can be sound asleep in my arms and as soon as I put her down she gets fussy and wants to held again to sleep. I don't get much done around the house.

~She has started cooing and smiling great big when we talk to her.

~She still loves the pacifier if she doesn't have it she finds her thumb!!!

~Just the last couple days she has started to wear her 0-3 month clothes newborn is starting to get a little snug, she is kind of in between sizes.

Halloween

This year for Halloween we did trunk or treat with Jacque and Paige's ward, Visited all the Grandparents and then took Libby Trick or Treating all over she made out with a whole bunch of candy! Libby was so excited to be a WITCH for Halloween and have Ava as her little BLACK CAT! Scott and I have always dressed up this year was a little last moment dressing up but we still had fun dressing in 49er jerseys.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins this year just the 4 of us and had a lot of fun just spending time together. Libby drew her cute pumpkin face and Scott helped her carve it. Ava picked out the scared face and I carved it for her haha.

Scotty bear

What in the world would I do without my Scott he is the most AMAZING husband and daddy!! Ava hasn't been the greatest sleeper or maybe I just require a lot of sleep either way I wouldn't be functioning without Scott he has stayed up with her through out the night a number of times and let me take plenty of naps. Scott is always so cute with babies but even more so with his own babies it's fun to watch how much he loves them. Libby is such a daddy's girl she always wants to play with him, he is so good to sit in her room and play Barbie's with her. When Scott is working he is always wanting me to send pictures of his girls and calls to talk to Libby it's the highlight of Libby's night. Libby always asks is it dad's last night of work tonight and gets so excited when it is. I am so grateful to have such a hardworking hubby so I can stay home with our girls and not miss a minute of their lives.

Pumpkin Patch

Libby's preschool class went to a Pumpkin Patch in orem. They learned about the different pumpkins, gourds and vegtables they also got to see lots of animals after a little bit of learning they got to run and play. Libby is going to preschool with her cousin Tyson they call each other best friends and love spending the time together. She has such a fun preschool class and teacher she has enjoyed going to school and can hardly stand the weekends.

One month old already?

Ava is getting big so fast the time sure goes by a lot quicker when you have a little baby to enjoy rather than being pregnant. I took these pictures on October 17th so she was exactly one month old.

Ava Bug

~Knows Libby's and Daddy's voices and loves when they talk to her she tries so hard to talk back.

~Pacifier what in the world would we do without these amazing things Ava has to have her pacifier without it she gets very cranky. We finally switched from the hospitals ones they were getting a little small for her mouth.

~The only time she gets really fussy is when she is hungry and or needs her diaper changed.

~I never know how many ounces to make when she is hungry because every feeding is different usually we stick with 4 ounces.

~She loves her bouncer I am so glad we have it so far that is the only she has slept in since we brought her home from the hospital.

~She is pretty strong she is always holding her head up by her self and looking all over.

~She loves to cuddle and be held.

~She hasn't figured out the sleeping thing yet but other than that she is a super easy baby.

First Bath!

We gave Ava her first bath a few weeks back her and Libby Lou both loved it. Libby insists on helping us bath her every bath I don't think Scott and I get to help much. Ava loves to just hanging out in the warm bath water. We are still figuring out how to really get her clean since she pees everytime we put her in the water if we change the water she just pees again. We are loving having Ava in our family and Libby loves being a big sister she has been such a big helper.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Beautiful!!!! Libby turned 5 years old, I can't even believe it she is getting so big. Time has gone by so fast it is such a bitter sweet thing it's so fun to watch her grow up but my baby isn't a baby anymore. Libby started preschool this year and is doing so good she has already learned so much and loves it. Libby also loves being a big sister there have been a few adjustments but loves her sister so much and is such a big helper.

Announcement

We took Libby and Ava to a photo studio in the university mall called Photo Works Studio it's across from build a bear. They did such a good job I was so happy with all the pictures and the prices. They made this announcement I love it let me know if you want one I am going to get them sent out here pretty soon.

10 day old pictures!!

Ava 9.17.2010

Ava is here safe and sound and we could not be any happier!! I was scheduled to be induced on thursday the 16th we waited for a phone call and never got one so at around 9am Scott called Labor and Delivery and asked what was going on and they said come in. We were both so excited BUT when we got there we got some bad news they were full and couldn't admit me AHHHHH!!! I was pretty upset since we never got a call and then when they told us to come in they sent us home what a disaster. Friday the 17th we got a phone call at 5:30am they told us to come on in thank goodness when we got there they admitted me pretty quick. They started my IV's at 8:30am and came in with the pitocin at about 9:00am I was dialted to a 4 for awhile I decided to get my epidural before the Doctor came and broke my water. At 11:30am the Doctor came and broke my water and the nurse said she would be back in about an hour to check on my progression. I started to feel a lot of pain and told Scott the contractions must be getting hard because they HURT!!! I couldn't take the pain anymore so we called the nurse it was 12:50 and she said it was time to push what in the world just an hour ago I was at a four no wonder my epidural had completly worn off. They paged the Doctor I started pushing at 1:00pm and our BEAUTIFUL little girl arrived at 1:11pm weighing 6lbs 11oz and 20 perfect inches long.
